Pregnancy is a very special time in a woman's life. Whether its a woman's first baby, or their third, each pregnancy is unique.

 

Having taken care of thousands of pregnant women, we identified two different types of patients. Those  who enjoy the flexibility of being able to walk-in to one of our clinics at any given time, on any given day,  and those who voiced that they would prefer an appointment system, with less wait time, and more continuity with a provider of their choosing.

Adapting to our patients needs, versus making our patients adapt to our practice, has been part of the key to our success. As a result, the Women's and Children's program was born. 

​

Women will be able to make appointments like in a traditional office, with the difference that we will be open for appointments 7 days a week. It will be a full service clinic with ultrasound, xray and a surgery suite for procedures like circumcisions, D&C and IUD insertions among others. The program will include all childhood immunizations.

 

Delivering doctors will have set days in the clinic so that patients will be able to choose to come to clinic on the day their preferred provider is there.

The goal of  program is to take care of women from the beginning of pregnancy throughout the postpartum period, where they will be provided couplet care, with both mom and baby being seen at 2-3 days, 2 weeks and 2 months post-partum. 

​

After the program is well established, the goal is  to expand the program to include psychiatric services, lactation services, labor support through our own doula system, as well as prenatal education.
